John Emmet Jensen passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Valley Healthcare Center in Billings, Montana. He was born October 31, 1934 in River Falls, Wisconsin, the son of John E. and Shirley (Severson) Jensen. He attended Northern Montana College in Havre, MT where he received his BA degree. In 1952 he enlisted in the Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1953.
On January 27, 1963 John was united in marriage to Lou Ann Tatosky in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They lived in Minnesota, Havre, Loveland, CO and Billings. His jobs included TV repair, the Railroad, working oil fields and truck driving.
John enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, skiing, bird watching and gardening. He also liked tinkering with electronics. His grandkids and great-grandkids were especially important to him and he loved spending time with them.
John is survived by daughters, Laurie J. (Norman) Bailey and Aleta M. (Bill) Campbell; sisters Joanne E. Madsen (Albert Jupe), Janice E. Melum; brothers, James E. Jensen, Jules E. Jensen; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lou Ann.
