Our Response to the COVID-19 Virus

At Dahl Funeral Chapel, we have practices in place to serve families with compassion and safety during this difficult time.

  • All staff members are trained in universal precautions (handwashing, gloves, hand sanitizer, and full-body protection available for the staff when needed, which includes masks).
  • Our building has always been deep cleaned at least 3 times a week. We have implemented additional cleaning measures such as disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces daily and our arrangement conference room after each use.
  • We have hand sanitizer available throughout the building and in our vehicles.
  • We can also make funeral arrangements, via phone, internet or in families’ homes (as we have always done when necessary).
  • We have a minimum of 3 professionally trained team members on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • During this time, we will also offer webcasting of ceremonies at no cost to the family while the virus pandemic remains a concern. We can broadcast to our website, as well as to our Facebook page.
  • Additionally, our website offers a safe place for friends and family members who live far and near to access loved ones’ memorial page and view the webcast, leave condolences, memorials, photos, tribute videos that we produce, and send flowers for the family.
  • We have been actively tracking all guidance from federal, state, and local government agencies. We have also been monitoring all guidance from our state and federal funeral director’s associations.
  • Following the guidance of federal, state, and local agencies, we will be recommending that families limit services to immediate family members or invited guests only for right now. A larger ceremony could be held at the later date.
  • As always, we will discuss all the options available, answer any questions, and accommodate the families’ wishes while making the funeral arrangements.

Families do not have to come to our funeral home to make arrangements; we can come to your home if it is local or arrangements can be made via the phone or internet.

Be at peace knowing that we are here to guide, serve and protect families during the most difficult times in life. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions or concerns at 248-8807 or office@dahlfuneralchapel.com
