Marquis RaShawn Scott , better known as Shawn passed away on Sunday June 15, 2025.

Shawn was born on a Tuesday morning on December 18, 1979 to mother Leslie Ann Scott in Billings, Montana. Marquis aka better known as Shawn shared mom with, two siblings 1 brother Dupree Arnell Scott and 1 sister Tierra Dawna Scott.

Shawn had the biggest loving heart towards family and friends. He would give his last dollar to anyone in need or the clothes off his back. He was a very giving and generous individual. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. God gained a very special angel that Sunday morning.

Left to cherish his life are his 3 daughters, Selena age 25, Vannon age 14, and Gia age 13. Grandmother Pinke L .Scott, Aunt/ Mom and caregiver Britanna (Vette) Glasgow brother Dupree and his 3 daughters and sister Tierra and her 3 children.

Marquis had a very large extended family to numerous to name all, but he was loved by all.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Leslie Scott Caldwell, stepfather Lorenzo Caldwell, Great grandparents Robert and Bernice Freeman, Otto Marsh, grandfather John Arthur Scott, and special sister/cousin Satanna Glasgow. Aunts Brenda, Audrey, Patricia and his uncle Manuel, his Auntie Barbara and his adopted; Aunt Blanche whom he joked with all the time, will miss that joking spirit and smile he loved to show. For all other cousins and extended family members, we know this loss has affected you as well. Give love to your family every day. May our Heavenly bless and keep you safe in his loving arms.

The family of Marquis would like to thank each and everyone who reached out with comforting words a thought we love and appreciate all of you dearly.

Once again thank you for the love and support. A special thanks to Dr. Bell who helped Shawn cope with his mental illness , you were always there for him and showed him that he was always important.

A repass will follow his service, at All Nations Christian Fellowship Church 2520 5th Avenue South. The old Taft school, now the Walla Walla College.
