Danny Quigley

On Thursday, May 25, 2023, we lost our loving and kind Dan Quigley, aged 82. He was the best Husband, Dad, Grandpa, or Uncle you could have met. You always knew where you stood with Dan. He was a quiet man who, if lucky enough to be considered a friend, had a quick wit, an easy laugh, and would be able to give you the twinkle in his eye that would fill your heart. He was the most caring, independent, stubborn, proud, and kindest man, and this obituary wouldn't have gotten his approval, due to the love and glowing praise with which we write.

Born in Conrad, he and his family traveled all over Montana, finally settling in Martinsdale. He joined the National Guard, and upon graduation from Harlowton joined the Air Force. Dan was very proud of his time served. Upon his honorable discharge, he started his 50-year career as an electrician and proud union member of IBEW Local #532.

He left the love of his life, Judy, of 48 years of marriage, three kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, sisters Doris and Pauline, and many friends who were considered a part of his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Leo and Joe, and sisters Joyce and Bernice.

He and his lovely bride enjoyed traveling, seeing places in Europe, a cruise to Alaska, and countless camping trips with family and friends. He enjoyed all of Montana's outdoor activities and spent time with his family snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, fishing and so much more. His home was always in Montana, with Judy, watching “his” wildlife out the patio door.

A memorial will be held at a future date and be a private ceremony with only close family and friends present.
