Jimmy Eades

Jimmy (Jim) Dean Eades passed away on June 14, 2023, in Billings, Montana. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, at St Mark's Hospital to Stacey James Eades and Fern Tennyson Eades on October 16th, 1941. He was the eldest of three sons. Jimmy Dean was married from 1961 to 1984 to Judith Eileen Chandler and had two children, Susan Lynn, and Chad Dean.

Jim was raised in Utah and Colorado and was very active in athletics during his school years. He attended Ben Lomond High School in Ogden Utah, where his nickname was “Little Dynamite” due to his explosive speed on the football field. He also had a passion for cars and spent most of his working life in the Automotive Industry.

Even though Jim was raised in the Rocky Mountains, he had a passion for the ocean. Later in life, and during his retirement years, he pursued his passion and moved to Florida where he could enjoy the sandy beaches, and soothing sounds of the ocean waves and play golf. Late into his retirement, Jim moved to St. George, Utah to help care for his mother. In 2021, and as Jim's health started to decline, he moved to Billings, Montana to be near his daughter, where she and her wife provided companionship, comfort, and care for him.

Jim is survived by his son Chad (Shauna) Eades, Daughter Susan (Karen) Stainton-Eades. Brother Ron Eades and Mother Fern Eades.

His Father Stacy and younger brother Phillip precede him in death.

As Jimmy Dean was a quiet man who did not have an appreciation for big gatherings or events, his request was to be taken back to the Florida beaches that he so loved and have his ashes scattered in the ocean with a few of his close friends and family.
