Obituary
Candace Elaine Colgrove, born November 26th, 1966, to Alan and Cathy Wright in Newport Oregon. Candy gained her angel wings far too early on July 17th, 2023.
Candy had the nickname “candy cane” from her older sister and brother, being the baby of the family. She spent her years in Oregon before meeting the love of her life, Tom, and moving to Montana where they spent their 33 years together.
Candy's main role throughout her life was being a homemaker and a mother to their daughter, Nichole. However, Candy's most important role came later in life which was being a nana. Her pride and joy was her granddaughter Palmer, and newest addition her granddaughter Preslee who are both local. In total, she had 7 grandchildren who made up her heart. (Amanda, Peyton, Evan, Kaileigh, Samantha, Palmer, Preslee)
Candy is preceded in death by her father Alan Wright. She is survived by her mother, Cathy Wright; Husband, Tom Colgrove; Daughter, Nichole (Spencer) Clampitt; Stepson, Tom Jr (Gina) Colgrove; Stepdaughter, Carissa (Ian) Oberholser; Sister, Shelly (Bob) Steele; Brother, Jeff (Robin) Wright; her grandkids, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
A small family gathering will occur at a later date. Candy was truly one of a kind and the sweetest soul. Our angel.
