Marvin Donald (Donnie) Buckeye Jr., Son of Marvin Sr. and Darlene Buckeye was born April 2, 1958 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He was a graduate of Edgeley High School class of 1977. Donnie enlisted in the Army National Guard in October of 1977 where he served as a Combat Engineer. After his honorable discharge in 1983 Donnie began his life long career as a truck driver until his passing on July 23, 2023 after a brief struggle with cancer.
Donnie was hard-working, honest, funny, and a “Pretty fly guy.” he was described as loyal to his work and family. Donnie will be missed deeply by those who knew him.
His amazing life will forever be cherished in the lives of his Significant other, Jackie Nasiatka; children: Jessica Buckeye, Brandon Buckeye, John Nasiatka, and Joshua Nasiatka; eight grandchildren, Joshua Nasiatka Jr, Joslyn Nasiatka, Keoni Nasiatka, Jimmi'a Buckeye, Kalea Nasiatka, Ke Kaia Nasiatka, Ke Koa Nasiatka; Father and Mother, Marvin Sr. and Darlene Buckeye; Siblings, Bonnie Dahl (Mike), Mike Buckeye (Janine), David Buckeye (Roxanne), Brenda Hager (Russell), Vickie Bell (Jim), Mark Buckeye, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
Donnie was a member of the ND National Guard. Interment will be held at a future date at the Veteran's Cemetery in Mandan, ND.
