Steven Wickham

Steven E. Wickham was born September 15, 1940, in Moorhead, Minnesota to Kermit and Fern (Stevens) Wickham, and died in Billings, Montana, on August 3, 2023. Steve spent most of his youth in Comstock and Fargo, ND and later moved to Billings where he has spent the last 60 years.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert "Bob", John "Jack", and Wallace "Wally". He is survived by his two sisters, Nonie (Donnie) LeRaas and Debbie Grange.

Steve married Faye Ingnell on September 19, 1961. They were blessed with three children: Pam Capp (Ray), Robert "Bob" Wickham (deceased), and Jeff Wickham (Jennifer).

Steve was employed in various occupations, including road construction and truck driving before settling into a successful career in sales. He built and ran Wickham Construction until he retired in 2005.

He loved supporting his children in rodeo, horse showing, O-Mok-Sees and racing dirt bikes. He enjoyed team roping with friends and family.

He was the proud grandpa of two grandchildren. You would often find him playing catch in the back yard, cheering from the stands at baseball games and taking hundreds of pictures of each event.

He made the best crepes and taught his son and grandson, Taylor, the art of making crepes, as well.

He had a knack for storytelling about the old days that will be missed by all.

His beautiful wife of 60 years, Faye, passed away on October 13, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter Pam (Ray), son Jeff (Jennifer) and two grandsons that he was very proud of, Taylor Wickham (Chelsea), and Chandler Wickham (Joanna).

We want to thank the wonderful staff and care givers at MorningStar and Stillwater Hospice for caring for our dad for the last 22 months. Dad is reunited with family and friends and free from the horrible pain of dementia.

A private graveside service for Dad and Mom and disposition of ashes will take place on September 23rd at 10:00 a.m.
