Ty Baldwin

Ty Baldwin passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was 18 years old.

Ty was born in Cody, Wyoming, on February 5, 2005. He was born nine weeks premature. Ty was the little brother to Jaclyn Fitzherbert (Baldwin), they were 8 years apart. Ty was raised by his mother Shana Baldwin. He lived in Cody, Wyoming until he was four years old. He then moved to Powell, Wyoming and stayed there until he was nine years old, then moved to Park City, Montana until he was 12 years old in 2017. Finally, he lived in Laurel, Montana.

Ty could always be found with a smile on his face. He was very loyal with a one-of-a-kind heart. He deeply shared his heart with the people he cared for. You could always count on his advice for any issue you had. He had the best hugs that left you feeling warm. Ty had jokes that could make everyone in the room laugh. He was the type of person that everyone could count on for protection, laughter, and love. Ty had a great love for history, he was very patriotic. His hobbies and interests included being in nature, hiking, playing video games (Fallout, Resident Evil, Farcry), movies (Terminator, Star Wars, Harry Potter), TV shows (Dr. Who, Stranger Things, Supernatural, Addams Family), he loved playing board games with his family, and his favorite music was 80's rock.

His compassion for animals was well-known. Ty had a beloved white lab named Buddy and a cat named Spark-cat-ious (Sparky).

Ty was so excited and happy to have become an uncle to his niece, Raylee Fitzherbert. He gave her the nickname little pirate and loved her smiles and cuddles. He was looking forward to watching Disney movies with her when she was older. She will forever remain Ty's little pirate.

Ty loved helping others so much, he planned on becoming either a police officer or an EMT. He took many classes on medical terminology and had an internship with the Laurel Police Department, which was to start at the beginning of the school year. Ty attended Laurel high school; his teachers never had a negative word to say about him. They said Ty was one of the most positive students they've ever had and wished more were like him. He stayed focused and was an honor student.

Ty is survived by his parents Shana Baldwin of Laurel, Montana, and Clint Hoover of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. His older sister Jaclyn Fitzherbert of Billings, Montana. His niece Raylee Fitzherbert, 4 months old, of Billings, Montana.
