Lucile Devitt

I remember Mrs. Devitt very well. She taught my brother steel guitar and taught me accordion. We both took lessons from her for many years. I took my lessons in the basement of her home on Clark. She was indeed a very special person. From the accordion I self taught myself to play piano and organ and studied voice throughout high school and college. I still sing and play occasionally. Mrs. Devitt taught me guitar lessons for several years when I was a teenager. I can remember her support of me, even when I was not the best student. Even though I gave up the guitar a while ago, I am still thankful to her for her teaching me how to appreciate learning the guitar, how to read music, and how to enjoy music. I will miss her and her shop in the Village Square in Billings. Thank you, Mrs. Devitt!
