Ethan Oak

Ethan Andrew Oak, 22 unexpectedly transitioned from this life on October 9th, 2023. Born in Billings, Montana on December 31st, 2000, to Jaysun Mims and Melissa Cuny.

Ethan's smile lit up any room he walked into; it was contagious for all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Family was always number one for Ethan, he never missed a holiday or a celebration. He loved spending time with his brothers and sisters, showing up to as many basketball games as he could to cheer and support his youngest brother.

Ethan met the love of his life, Libby Polkow, his smile was even wider when he was with her. Together their family grew, and they welcomed a son Ezekiel “Zeke”. Ethan was the proudest father, and his son became his entire world. You never saw Ethan without Zeke being glued to his daddy.

Our lives will never be the same without our Ethan, what brings some peace is knowing he is free! Free to fly with all the angels that are surrounding him. Save a place for us, son, and watch over us. You will be the best guardian angel.

Ethan is preceded in death by grandfathers Own Cuny and Lonnie Mims.

Ethan is survived by his parents Melissa Cuny, Darwin Oak, Jaysun and Mistie Mims; his partner Libby Polkow; son Ezekiel “Zeke” Oak; sisters Lindsay Jenkins, Taylor Mims, Taylor Morgan, Aaliyah Morgan, Michon Morgan, and Mikayla Morgan; brothers Greg Mims, Junior, Nathaniel Blacksmith, Julius Mims, Walker Mims, Tayian Silson, Dominique Downam, Jaysun Mims, and Mason Morgan; grandmother Annie Mims; other survivors include nieces A'miya Fox and Mazikeen Zavala.
