Playing Tiger softball for all those years was so much fun, but as all of us agree, meeting new teammates and their families and building those relationships was the real, enduring benefit. I wouldn’t have ever known Warren and Ann and the kids if not for the Tiger sports family. Warren typically played alongside of me in the outfield and I will always cherish those memories along with so many others of Warren. A truly gifted, accomplished and classy man. The Hardy family is just sickened by his passing. Ann, kids and extended family, we love you and are praying for you every evening.

Although many years have passed by, Warren and I played flag football together on the Suds Hut and Sandee’s team. What a great time we had and created many happy memories for me. May happy memories fill your days. My condolences.

Warren and I shared mostly from our F-4 days, and his encounter with light aircraft through “taking a bath” buying a Bonanza. I consider it a privilege to have been a friend of Warren. Anne, I am deeply sorry for your great loss. May you find joy as you drive the ‘58 with the windows down, knowing it’s Warren tossing your hair. I pray for God’s mercy on his soul. RIP, Warren.

I first met Warren when I was a student at the West Region Little League Umpire Academy in 1992. He was a great instructor, kind and patient. I didn’t see him again until 2012, when I umpired in Missoula at the Little League Senior Softball Regional Tournament. He was our evaluator and he was meticulous about his game notes, highlighting every key move and decision each of us made inning by inning. He provided us with valuable information and tools to be better officials. I’m sorry to hear of his passing and I wish for peace to his family and friends.
