Josephine “Josie” Albright, 92, passed away on October 17, 2023, in Billings, MT.


Josie was born Josephine Eva Peterson, on March 19, 1931, to her parents Arthur Peterson and Catherine Peterson Voltz in Golden Valley, ND. Josie grew up in Dodge, ND, where she graduated high school.


She married Raymond Albright on November 22, 1950. They had two children: Brenda and Pete.


Josie was a homemaker and worked as a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed visiting shut-ins and nursing homes with Sister Carolus and Sister Carol.


Josie loved interior design of homes and more so, she loved to paint everything white.


Josie is preceded in death by her husband Ray Albright, married 62 years; parents: Arthur Peterson and Catherine Peterson; brothers: Jim, Leonard, and Leroy; sisters: Marian (Dolly), Leona, Ruby, Janet, and Geraldine.


She is survived by daughter: Brenda Albright; son: Pete Albright; sisters: Helen and Reta Fey; brothers: Walter and Stanley; two grandchildren: Delton and Damian; as well as three great-grandchildren: Nathan, Abigail, and Hailey.


Visitation will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Dahl Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
