Tiffany Costa

On the morning of December 6th, 2023, Tiffany's battle with cancer ended. She took her last breath surrounded by family. She fought very hard to the end.

Tiffany Renee Costa, Crow name “AN NEE DIAXAALAACHISH” meaning Her Path Stands out, was born September 6, 1988, to Alma Costa and Robert Meza. Tiffany was a Whistling Water and a child of the Big Lodge. After she was born Tiffany's mom asked her late brother Lyndon “Indian” Wall to help name her and an hour later he called back with excitement to say he came up with the name India but after some thought decided to name her “Tiffany” after his favorite singer. She was raised by Mary Wall and in her early years she attended the St. Charles Mission from First to the Third grade, during that year she was selected by her classmates to represent them as Princess for Native American Heritage Week where she was paraded and had a giveaway. Tiffany loved to dance and play sports like basketball and softball in which she excelled, and some would say was a “natural” often being selected without even trying out. In her adult years, she played on a team with her friends. She graduated from Senior High School and after that, she attended Little Big Horn College for a bit where she was asked to drive the students to and from Billings.

Tiffany was a single mom and worked very hard to provide for her sons Sam and Jordan. She often made the impossible happen when it came to her boys. She was the best mother to her boys. Tiffany always lived her life to the fullest she lived without fear and was always willing to try anything. Some of her adventures included skydiving, and taking trips and was always down to attend a concert she attended meet and greets which included Bizzy Bone who admired her appearance, Reveree who in the middle of her concert gave Tiffany her t-shirt she was wearing, and her favorite Snow the Product who on her last meet and greet gave her covid. Tiffany loved all types of music and loved to dance. She was a fun, loving, laid-back soul who always loved to smile and laugh. Tiffany touched a lot of lives; she left an unforgettable imprint on every person she came across.

Tiffany is preceded in death by her dad Robert L. Meza. Her uncle Lyndon “Indian” Wall. Grandpa Arthur, Charles, and William Wall Jr. Oliver Dewayne Costa, Bruce Bighail, Vince Meza. Grandma's Gloria Cummins, Josephine Whiteman, Charlene Laverdure Margaret Meza. Great grandparents William and Alma Wall Sr. Aileen Notafraid.

Tiffany is survived by her boys, Jordan & Samuel Corteguera. Her mom Alma Rose Costa, sisters Brenda (Weston) Costa-Badbear, India (Josh) Meza-Stewart, Val (Marlene) Meza-Martin, Brothers Richard Meza, Cub Meza, Anton Rideshorse, Jeremy Keo, and Antone Lopez. Cousins who were like siblings, Santa, Antonio, Espy and G-Baby Ortiz, Pancho Nava, Mariah Smallbear, Lyndon Laforge Sr. Michelle (cowboy) Wall-Nomee, Ely Wall, Jerrod Fourcolors, Jay, Josh, Jenaya, Jeriyah Keo, Gabby and Dallyn Lopez Dani, Miki, Bridget, and Mati Costa. Aunts Alice Wall, Belle Laverdure, Theresa Meza, Mary A. Wall, Ladonna Laverdure, Angie (Jason) Louie, Anne (mathew) Ball, Donya, and Christy Costa. Uncles Bobby Wall, Channis (Norma) Whiteman, Vance, Dagwood Laverdure, Rick (Lavern) Meza, Dewayne (Dora) and Dominic Costa.

Tiffany had some close friends who turned into family, Kasondra Hill, Terry Sullivan, Amanda Reyna, Kristen IronRoad, Angel Goes Ahead, Felicia Ricks, and Her co-workers at Perkins Family Restaurant West.
