My deepest condolences from my family to yours. It was nice to see that MSU named a very good barley variety to honor Gene. He was a good man and a great asset to Montana Agriculture. His legacy will live on through his work. Thank You Gene and Godspeed.

My father, Howard M Willson, was a neighbor from Fort Assiniboine, a one-room school classmate and lifelong friend of Gene’s. Howard lost touch with him these past few years. Howard sends his condolences to Sharon and Gene’s family. Ralph Willson Vancouver, WA
