Bryan Theodore Vigesaa was born in Great Falls, MT on October 30, 1960, to Lawrence and Delores Vigesaa. He passed away from a two-year long battle with cancer on February 5, 2024. He was surrounded by family at the time of his death.
Bryan had a soul that could reach out and touch you. He always knew how to make the people around him hysterical with laughter. Whether it was making goofy faces, playing silly characters, or making nutty one liners, you always had a smile when you were around him.
He lived many lives during his time on earth. Bryan was a stellar musician that was incredibly versatile. He could play beautiful classical music on his trombone or shred an improvised melody on his bass guitar. Bryan had a real talent for picking up any instrument and making it sing. His passion for music was shown in the numerous rock bands that he was a member of. Bryan played guitar, bass guitar, and demonstrated his vocal talent in the many groups he was in. You could count on him to serve an iconic performance of Led Zeppelin's “Immigrant Song” or AC/DC's “Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.”
His passion for music was complemented by a passion for motorcycles. Bryan loved taking his Harley out for a ride on a sunny afternoon. He enjoyed many trips riding his Harley across the open road with his lovely wife Jana sitting behind him.
Bryan was above all a family man. He was so incredibly loving to everyone around him, and his top priority was making his wife, children, and granddaughters happy. As an especially supportive husband he always made sure Jana was happy and taken care of. He was so encouraging to Gene and Carlee and always pushed them to pursue what made them happy. When Bryan was blessed with granddaughters, he became a playfully energetic grandpa as well. Whether he was subjected to playing make-believe princess games or listening to at-home “pop concerts” he always did so with a genuine smile on his face.
Bryan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jana Vigesaa; his children Gene Hauck, his wife Brooklyn Hauck, and Carlee Vigesaa; grandchildren Braelyn and Harper; parents Lawrence and Delores Vigesaa; siblings Erik Vigesaa and his wife Ruth Vigesaa and Ben Vigesaa and his wife Sue Vigesaa; and numerous other family members and friends.
