Obituary

David Robert Hamilton, age 82, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at Billings Clinic after a courageous battle with cancer. David was born on May 28, 1941, in Roundup, Montana to Robert and Amelia Hamilton. He was raised, and went to school, at Lavina and later worked on several ranches in that area. David then worked as a section man for the Montana Department of Transportation for 29 years in Ingomar Montana before retiring. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert St. Claire Hamilton, mother Amelia Molly (Peil) Hamilton, and brother Glenn St. Clair Hamilton. He is survived by his wife Lynne (Moody) Hamilton, son Robert Hamilton, daughter Jennifer Hamilton, and several grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life for David on March 2, 2024 at the Community Hall (6 Main Street) in Martinsdale, Montana.
