Jeri was such a sweet friend. Several of us took a bus trip to Minneapolis with her. She got the bus driver to take us to Crispy Crème donuts. She went in and they came out with a free hot donut for each of us. Of course we bought several boxes of them. We stopped at the rest area and Jeri was out flying her kite. Her mom and dad had an anniversary and she passed the phone around the bus so we could all wish them Happy Anniversary. We were entertained with her kazoos and funny gags from her bag. I’ll never forget sweet Jeri.
My condolences to her family.

I met Jerriann this past season at Highgate. She had been brought to the cottage where I was visiting my brother. I began to help her with her food, as the disease made it virtually impossible for her to get the nutrition she needed. I deeply admired her great courage and her patience, as challenged as she was, minute by minute. What an extraordinary life she lived - a powerhouse of a woman, with skills and talents beyond the ordinary. She was someone I would have loved knowing.
My sincere sympathies to the family.
