Linda Carlson

Our beloved mother, Linda Carlson sadly left us on April 5th, 2024. She was born in Billings, MT on January 19th, 1965, to Dora L. Dietz but was raised by her grandparents, whom she cherished and loved so much. Besides her daughters, Linda's passion was her daycare and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her son Davey Carlson, daughter Brandie Carlson, stepson Jeremy Whitewolf, and best friend Jerry Nava. She leaves behind two daughters, Jennie Nava (Tony Embrey) and Jeri Nava (Micha Dobberstien), her stepchildren who she loved like her own, Jericho Nava, Leesa Nava, Vanessa Nava, and Joseph Nava, Nikki Mcclure, Melisa Youmans, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her cherished friend of over 40 years, Patricia Martinez.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. A Friend to many, she was a cherished member of the daycare community in Billings offering childcare to hundreds of families over the span of 30 years.

We would like to thank the numerous people who reached out to us during our time of grief. Everyone from daycare parents' past and present to old friends and family. A special thanks to Dahl's Funeral Chapel, Darcy Russell for being by our mom's side until the end, Richard and Erin Hall, and Jennie's closest group of friends, we cannot thank you enough for your support and generosity.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Dahl's Funeral Home on Friday, June 28th, 2024, at 11:30. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
