Luyviana Petersen

I so enjoyed talking with Aunt Luyviana in my adult years. She always had a great disposition and outlook on life, and I will carry her words of advice with me forever. Prayers to Roger and his family!

I was Luy and Pete's pseudo son when they lived on Mallard Lane. We spent so much time together, there were people who thought I was their son. When they traveled, I took care of the house, paid the bills, fixed the furnace and plowed the driveway to make it looked lived in. We dined together almost weekly. When when Carol and I started dating, we spent time with Luy and Pete. I have many very fond memories. Even though We moved away in 2000, I still have a photo of Luy on my book case. We came to visit 11001 Mallard Lane when we were back in Pittsburgh. She was quite a woman!

Found a picture of Luy, Pete, Carol and myself on April 17, 2004 at the Jacktown Ride and Hunt Club in North Huntingdon, PA. It was a regular Friday night for us.
