Obituary
Jasmine Lea Moen was born in Sioux City, Iowa on November 7th, 1977. Jasmine passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones and her amazing care team at Billings Clinic. She grew up in Bloomington and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jasmine moved to Billings, Montana, 18 years ago and called Billings her home. Jasmine was creative and had a sense of humor. She was determined and had an immense love for animals. She was intelligent, articulate, and thoughtful. Her bright blue eyes were captivating, and she was truly a beautiful person. She loved her children dearly, Gaetano and Ariel. In April, she was overjoyed to welcome her new grandson, Gabriel and share beautiful moments with him. Jasmine connected her creativity and artistic nature when she began landscaping. She had a small landscaping business which she enjoyed immensely. She wasn't afraid to be the "life of the party" or the "center of attention" and she proved this when she began to do stand-up comedy. She even had the chance to perform in Vegas with her confidant and companion, Phil. Her laugh will be incredibly missed. You didn't have to see Jasmine to know she was there; her voice and her laugh filled an entire room and beyond. As her brother Jake said best, "Jasmine is the best part of our mom." Jasmine's wishes were to help others through organ donation. As a family, we are grateful that her love will live on through others.
She was preceded in death by her uncle Daniel Ewers, her brother Jared Grober and her mother Debi Moen. She leaves behind her son Gaetano (grandson Gabriel), daughter Ariel, and her father Ernie Moen, brother Jake Moen, sister Rhea Moen, and grandparents Gary and Laura Arp. She also leaves behind her uncles, aunts, including one of her closest aunts, Tammy Woodcock, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. We appreciate that loved ones could be there in person and virtually as she went home to be with Jesus. We are grateful that her cousins Zack, Emily, Ella, and her aunt Tammy were among some of her loved ones who could join virtually to say farewell. We also honor those who were with her in spirit. Her dear friend, Phil is someone who has been by Jasmine's side and we are grateful for his love and support of Jasmine.
A visitation and viewing will be held on Monday, May 20th from 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm at
Dahl Funeral Chapel
10 Yellowstone Ave. Billings, MT
On Tuesday, May 21st, there will be a viewing held at 9:30 am before the service at 10:00 am. A burial will immediately follow at
Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park
3605 Grand Ave, Billings MT
