Cory Richardson

Cory Ray Richardson, (Eagle Whistler) crossed to the other side of camp on June 3, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1987, at the Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, NC. He was known as Bubba by all his friends and family. He was the youngest of three born to Emma and Owen Richardson. Bubba's Love of his life was his Daughter Irie Richardson. He was enrolled in the Crow Tribe, and member of Greasy Mouth Clan, and a child of Ties the Bundle Clan (Crow Tribe), as well as Flint Knife Clan, and Low Cap Clans (Hidatsa Tribe).

Bubba was raised and attended school in Billings, he graduated from Skyview High School in 2005. While attending he received the Skyview Falcon Award upon graduation, also winning school championships in wrestling and football. After high school, he received a Football Scholarship to attend MSU Northern. Bubba was also a player with the Billings Outlaws arena football team and won two championship rings. He also represented the state of Montana by winning the state title for The Heights Senior League state title, in 2014 he made it to Michigan for a championship in disc golf to represent Montana. He loved playing just about any sport such as wrestling, football, flag football, baseball, softball, disc golf, and golfing. He enjoyed traveling, sports, and going to concerts. For all who knew Bubba he had the biggest smile, was kind, had a big heart, and most of all he could always make everyone laugh.

The following preceded him in death: His Grandparents Elsie Rides the Horse, Warren Jefferson Sr., Ira Richardson, and Jeanette Spotted Bear Richardson.

He is survived by his Parents Emma and Owen Richardson, The Love of his life, his Daughter, Irie Richardson, His older brother Lewis Richardson, and His Sister Tashina (Melvin) Richardson. Nieces: Moriah (Kasey) Wilson, Kayleigh Adams, Abigail Lineback. Nephews: Rk Malcolm, Devin Richardson, Riley Adams, Grayson Lineback. Uncles: Raymond (Diane) Richardson, Warren Jefferson Jr., Aunts: Glenda McConnell, Darla (Bob) Evankovich. Extended families include: Rides The Horse, Spotted Bears, Bear Tusk, LaForge, Jefferson, Fevold, Wambach, Cole, Bearcrane, Fox, Rogers, Henry, Johnsons, Bellrock, Stovall, McClusky, Nomee, Roundface, Schilf, Whiteplume, Coffey, Big Lakes, Bears Tail, Nagel, Tusi, Windy Boy, Chief Stick, House, Chief Goes Out, Top Sky, Morsettes, Demontiney, RedStar, Raining Bird, Reed, Bulltail, Chasing Hawk, Tsosie, Denny, Stewart Families, as well as his Sports families.
