Vinny was my best friend since we were thirteen. I have more stories about him and I than I can count. We had our good times and bad times. We lived in Alaska together, Montana together and in Nevada we grew up together. I will forever miss him. I feel like a part of me has died with him but I know he is still around in spirit and in my heart. Here's a little story for you all. It was Morgan Dickenson (Mo), Vince of-course Bella and myself headed out to go camping by china springs NV. We took separate cars so we had to meet up. MO was already at the campsite mid-day and we were on our way. We had to drive through a river to get there and in the river guess what? We broke down....so we had a case of beer and decided to say "well let's drink a few and head on out to find MO. So of course we got a little to drunk and tried to find out what was wrong as we were in the water looking underneath the truck freekin cv joint broke so we started walking. We walked for about two hours and it was dark so scanning the groups of trees we saw a solitary fire. We knew it was MO. We were still about a mile away wet, tired and drunk. When we got there we scared MO and got some chow. I put my wet shoes and pants next to the fire to dry out and we proceeded to sleep in the back of Mo's truck. Side note: lol....Bella kept laying on me and finally I was like Bella get off and Vince uttered " it's me" lol. We were cold alright. So in the morning I went to get my pants and shoes back on and ha ha you guessed it. Burnt to a crisp. No pants and no shoes we left knowing we had to come back and fix the truck under water and to show up home with no shoes and no pants and explain it. You can just imagine..."how could you lose your pants and shoes" anyways we got back to the truck about four hours later and took us four hours to put that damn cv joint in. Just a little taste of how our life was.
