Obituary
Donald Morris Leikam enjoyed 79 years of life born October 2, 1944 and his life on earth ended June 29, 2024. He was preceded by his parents, three brothers and his beautiful daughter Nicole Leikam-Morton.
Don retired after 37 years of employment with the City of Billings Sanitation/Street Departments. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working; however, his greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family.
Don deeply loved and is survived by his wife of 56 years Patt; his son, Henry Wm. Leikam; Grandchildren, Za'Breeyhna (Spencer) Gunn; CJ (Jocelyn) Morton, Cairo Morton and Zi'Onna Leikam-Morton; Great-grandchildren, Athena, Cam, and Mariano Morton, Kayden and Rion Gunn; numerous nieces and nephews, the Roll family, special friend Dorothy Thompson and his many, many good friends.
He leaves behind his lessons that no person is a stranger only a future friend, always make sure you have room at the table, and COFFEE…
Don had a sincere belief in God and did not fear passing into his next adventure. We remember his motto, “Family and Friends is a journey to forever,” we remember him for his kindness; remember he truly appreciated your love and friendships.
In his words, “See you later alligator, I love you and ya'll come back now.”
Memorials may be made to Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund or Trinity Lutheran Education Fund.
Memorial services will be held on Friday July 12, 2024, 11a.m. at Trinity Lutheran, 537 Grand.
