Susan Rides Horse

Susan Alberta Rides Horse born on February 26th, 1961. 0ur beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 18, 202th, 4 at Intermountain Healthcare in Billings Montana surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Leona Rides Horse and Earl Denny.

She was an enrolled member of the Crow Tribe and a member of the Ties the Bundle Clan. She attended elementary and High school at Plenty Coups High school in Pryor Montana. She spent time and would visit in Fort Belknap and also Rocky Boy. She had various jobs in Pryor and Billings Montana. She believed in the power of prayer and prayed for everyone in need. She would always open her home to family and friends if you needed to talk or needed a place to go, and treated everyone as her own. She enjoyed and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as visiting with her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. She will surely be missed by everyone who loved her.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Michaela Beartusk-Limberhand; grandson Andy Beartusk-Martinez; Brothers Michael LaForge Sr., Stanford Lee Rides Horse; grandparents Emma Buffalo Coat, Stanley Rides Horse, Hattie Oats-Denny, and William Denny; Aunts Marie, Alice, and Margaret Rides the Horse, Louise Capps, Hope Denny; Uncles Lewis, Leon Rides Horse, Hartford, Daniel, JR, and Tuffy Denny, nephew Cory “Bubba” Richardson

Survivors include her daughters Quana (Vaughn) and Lujuana (Darrell) Old Crane-Holliday, Leota (DeMetrious) Jefferson, April (Juan) Rivera; her only son Joseph Bear Jr.; Brothers Mark (Guena) Spotted Horse, Stanley (Sarah) Rides Horse, James Stewart, and Josh (Kendra) Rides Horse; Sisters Sherry and Cheryl Rides Horse; Aunts Winona Denny of Alaska, Rhonda and Caroline Denny of Idaho; grandchildren TaeLynn(Baby) Dunia Ramos, TaeLei (Georgia) Old Crane, Elesio Arredondo, Rihanna, Juanito(lil boy) Rivera, Nicolas (Stephanie) Birdtail, Veronica (Weslyn) Schilling, Tawnya Tangen Four Souls, Roy Thomas Old Crane, Laila Kade (Jonah) Beartusk, Kyesha Beartusk, Susan (Karsen), Romeo, Leticia, Alicia Martinez, Aaliyah (Bronson) Enemy Hunter , Maliyah Gonzalez, Rusty Jr.,Rustaeyah, Michael, Benny Limberhand, Jahsen Bear; Adopted Sisters Lois Marie Rides Horse, Emma (Owen) Richardson, Theda and Faye Medicine Horse, Thelma Jean Doney, Annette Beartusk, Tina RedStar, Bertha Gone; Adopted Brothers Curtis Medicine Horse, Stanford and Roy Rides Horse; Nieces Rose Marie Beartusk, Mitchellene Bear of WA, Dannette Hugs, Tashina (Melvin) Richardson; Nephews Michael Jr., Mitchell, RedStar LaForge, Joe, Leon and Lenny Beartusk, Stan (Nelvette) Rides Horse, Taylor Spotted Horse, Kyler and M.J, Lewis Richardson, Elijah, Antonio, Isaiah Rides Horse; and also numerous nieces and nephews whom she adopted and took as her own.
