Vernon Peter Sigl, 85, passed away on July 20, 2024, in Billings, MT.
Vernon was born on December 20, 1938, to his parents Joseph C. Sigl and Elizabeth Lefor. He was the oldest of seven siblings. Vernon was raised in Lefor, ND and later graduated high school there as well.
Vernon eventually met Rose Farkas, where later they were married on March 24, 1971, in Manhattan, New York. Vernon served his country as an Airman in the United States Air Force for five years.
In life, Vernon was also employed at Modernage Custom Imaging Lab in Manhattan but also found joy working as a freelance Photographer. He had many passions such as gardening, dancing, and listening to the music from his large collection of CDs and tapes.
Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Wife Rose, and three brothers: Larry, Tim, and Eugene. He is also preceded by his brothers-in-law Greg Baxter and Mokey Dinius.
Survivors include his sisters Evelyn Baxter of San Jose, CA, Jane Dinius of Billings, MT, and Shirlene Shippen of Billings.
