Charlene Davidson

Charlene Anna Davidson (Chawn), born on November 9, 1956, passed away on July 27, 2024, at Billings Clinic Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, after a brief battle with cancer. Diagnosed with advanced cancer in April 2024, Chawn faced her illness with strength and courage, embodying the resilience that defined her life.

Chawn was a unique soul with a heart of gold, known for her ability to bring laughter to anyone around her. She met her soulmate, Ron, and together they made their home in Fountain, Colorado. Ron worked as a milkman for Meadow Gold, while Chawn dedicated over 25 years to nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher. Her work forged lasting friendships with the families of her students.

Chawn and Ron's home was filled with the joy of their many fur babies, including a potbelly pig named Billy Ray and a dog named Tank. She had a passion for collecting quotes, stickers, and trinkets that she lovingly shared with her nieces and nephews. During a three-month stay at Gallagher's Assisted Living in Billings, MT, she formed a second family, deeply appreciating their care and companionship.

After Ron's passing, Chawn moved to Williston, North Dakota, in 2018 to be closer to her family. Despite her love for her family, she often reminisced about the Colorado mountains she missed dearly. Chawn cherished her family, but also valued her moments of solitude. She was an avid fan of Criminal Minds, enjoyed caramel macchiato coffees, and took pleasure in her smoke breaks. Her gift for making strangers feel like long-lost friends was a testament to her warm and open nature. Ron remained ever-present in her thoughts and conversations, as she frequently relived their cherished memories together.

Chawn is survived by her brother-in-law Bob and his wife Carrie; niece Mandy and her husband Josh, and their children Jocelyn, Jayden, Jacob, and Jayse; and nephew Bobby and his fiancée Annesse, and their children Briley, Ares, Calix, Averie, and Hadleigh. She is reunited in death with her beloved husband Ron Davidson, her daughter Amity, and her mother.

Chawn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private memorial service will be held to honor her life and legacy. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date per Chawn's request.
