On August 10, 2024, the world lost a true angel. Ashleigh Annita Scala left this world peacefully with her family by her side.
Ashleigh was born July 1, 1983, to Mark and Jann Goodell in Aberdeen, SD. Ashleigh grew up in Billings, MT. She was a graduate of Billings Skyview High School. Here she made many friends and excelled at singing.
Ashleigh married Bret Scala on August 6, 2010. Ashleigh and Bret had two beautiful daughters Jayde and Mia who Ashleigh loved more than anything. Ashleigh recently became a grandmother to Kade which made her so happy.
In 2019, Ashleigh had a double transplant surgery. It was a long hard road that she had to navigate. She fought many complications from her transplant, but ultimately succumbed to those complications.
Ashleigh was preceded in death by her little brother Jordan Goodell, her grandmother Irma Stammer, grandfather Marlin Stammer, and grandfather Ward Goodell.
Ashleigh is survived by her husband Bret, and their daughters Jayde and Mia. Her parents Mark and Jann Goodell, two brothers Nick Goodell and Seth Goodell, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on August 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Reception to follow at By All Means Brewery.
