Oh my goodness! I’m heartbroken at the soul this earth lost! He frequently enters my mind and is above and beyond the world’s greatest teacher I ever had! He impacted my life as a 9th grader far far more than I could have imagined! It takes a special person for an unmotivated student dealing with her dad’s own medical diagnosis.. stress and turmoil as a teen to want to try her heart out to be the best possible! He also frequently inspires me with how to live a life as an educator -and utmost as a good person! I have and will continue to carry your memory in my heart Mr Dean Shultis! Your a rare and unique individual

I was privileged to work with Dean for several years at ZooMontana. He was an incredible educator, a very interesting person, and just a lot of fun to be around. He was instrumental in building a strong education program at the Zoo and I cherish the memories of that time. He is definitely missed.

I have so many memories of Dean, such as when he first came to Billings to meet our family. He took me to A and W in his yellow 57 Chevy convertible.
