Gerald Berard

Gerald (Gerry) Stephen Berard passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2024, in Billings Montana. There in Billings, his Lord and Savior greeted him with open arms. Gerry was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, the third son of Margaret Earlene and Oscar G. Berard. Gerry attended school at St Agnes Catholic school and attended Bishop Dennis J. O' Connell High School. Gerry was a fantastic athlete and excelled at every sport he played. His passion though was basketball. He coached youth for many years and loved all sports his entire life.

Gerry moved to Huntsville Arkansas in 1990 before moving to Montana in 2019. Proceeded in death was his father, Oscar, his mother, Margaret Earlene, his oldest brother Paul, his only sister Linda Berard Tribby Chelec. Surviving is his oldest brother David, his wife Susan, nephew Mathew, nieces Abby, Robin and Renee and their children. Brother Daniel and his wife Laurie and their sons John, his wife Jen and Andrew and wife Kristy and all of their children. Gerry was a good man and a devout Catholic. He will be missed. Until we meet again brother!!

A funeral Mass for Gerry will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Columbus, Montana on Friday, September 27th at 9:00 AM. Burial at the Mountain View Cemetery in Columbus will immediately follow the Mass.
