Heidi Miller

Heidi was born on October 27th, 1971. In Colorado Springs, Colorado to Marcia Abernathy and Darrel Berry.

Shortly after her birth, the family relocated back to Utah, where her parents previously lived and where the Berry family is from. Heidi spent much of her younger years in Northern Utah, where she enjoyed spending time with her grandpa and grandma Abernathy, and her four younger siblings.

She is survived by her parents, Marcia Rodrigez (Abernathy) and Darrel Berry. Her five younger siblings Jesse, Brandon, Haily, Chalise and Eric. Her 4 children Ariel, Avery, Aliesha, and Hella. And her 6 grandchildren Lyrric, Molli-Maria, Hendrix, Alesha, Vincent, Zale, and Kayslie.

She received a degree from OTC and was a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Gary Hoopes at Hoopes Dental in Ogden Utah. She was also a SAHM and Homemaker while her children were young.

She and her children moved to Washington state in 2012. In the last seven years of her life, she traveled across the United States. She and her partner biked and backpacked the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail starting in Seattle Washington and ending at the Mexican border in Southern California. They traveled from Southern California to Florida. And from Florida to Maine. And eventually made their way to Billings Montana. Where she lived for five years and where she passed away September 24th, 2024.

Heidi loved to learn. She enjoyed long discussions and debates late into the warm summer nights. Especially in Blaine Washington. She said she loved the salty smell of the Ocean mixed with the trees. Although not a religious person, she was very Esoteric and spiritual. She enjoyed learning about many different cultures and religions. Over the span of two years, she read over 200 books. Including The Kabbalah, Bhagvad Gita, The King James Bible, and The Quran. A few of her favorites were The 4 Agreements by Miguel Ruiz along with The Book of The Law and The Equinox by Aleister Crowley.

She loved music and had a vast collection of albums. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. She always had houseplants and almost always kept a vegetable and flower garden. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors. In her younger years, she participated in local modeling and fashion shows.
