Obituary

On August 30th, 1940, Ardell Leona Flansaas came into this world and on October 4th, 2024, she left it.


She lived through WWII, was raised and went to school in Harlowton Mt. She married twice and had three children. She had a great love of animals. Once keeping a praying mantis as a pet and always wanting a skunk. Growing up, her children were aloud dogs, cats, birds, hampers and rabbits.


Ardell went to school to become a cook. She worked at the “Dude Rancher” for many years.


Ardell also enjoyed crafting; her favorite being crocheting.


She once said that she had no regrets in life and that's how she lived. She saw each day as a blessing.


She is proceeded in death by her mother and stepfather Sally and Ralph Atkins, son Mark Brown and granddaughter Jackie Gray.


She is survived by “The love of her life” Paul Currey, son Donald Brown, daughter Robin Reid (Clyde), grandson Cheyenne Brown, granddaughter Brittany Heskett (Devan), grandson Scott Gray and great grandchildren Chassity, Jaycee, Wyatt, Wesley and Miles.


A Celebration of Life will be held at Golden Meadows community center on Saturday October 12th from 1 to 3.
