Roger Radden

Roger Paul Radden, 79 of Shepherd, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness on October 7th, 2024.

Roger was born in Casper, Wyoming to Warren and Helen Radden. After college and deployment to Vietnam, Roger moved to Billings where he met the love of his life Patricia. They were married in 1986. Roger retired from Beall Truck Parts in 2010. Upon retirement Roger loved camping, fishing and playing cards. Whether it was fishing off of Catalina Island or fishing the lakes and streams of Montana, Roger could always be found with fishing gear in hand and the always present wager of a dollar for the first fish, the most fish and the biggest fish. In the winter months he could always be found spending time with family and playing Bingo.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Helen, brother Jimmy and sister Mary Jo Radden-Watson. Survivors include his wife Patricia, son Andrew (from previous marriage) and wife Joslyn, stepdaughter Marie (Scott), stepsons Arlyn, Mike (Dalisay), 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

We will miss his quick wit, humor and mischievous grin, but most of all, the time he spent with all of us.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the Yellowstone National Cemetery, Laurel, MT which is scheduled for April 28th at 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life to follow at 3:30 p.m. at South Side Senior Citizens Center in Billings, MT.

The family asks that memorials be donated to any of the local Veteran Services organizations in Yellowstone County.
