Robert Frickle

The life of Robert “Bob” Roy Frickle, affectionately known as “HB”, began on February 10, 1955, in Billings, MT. On November 2, 2024, in the same beloved hometown, he was called back home, but his spirit and stories forever remain etched in our hearts.

Bob was not just a master pipefitter with the Plumbers and Pipefitters until his retirement; he was the anchor of a vibrant family. His love for his children, Jake and Jesse Frickle, and daughter, Katrina Beaumont, was matched only by the profound adoration he held for his grandchildren.

Bob's Favorite Things were Sunday sports on TV, or hitting the green with his “Catholic Mafia” golf crew. Most of all, Bob loved his family. His deep seated love for his children was a natural extension of the lifelong bond he shared with his family. They were there for each other through every chapter in life; celebrating the triumphs of life's highs, or leaning on one another during life's lows.

Losing their parents, Wallace “Wally” and Gloria Frickle, then most recently their brother, Jim Frickle, was an enduring hardship, but even in sadness, Bob displayed resilience and humor. His surviving siblings, Teri (Ron) Curtiss, Steve (Rosie) Frickle, Gloria Adams, and sister in law Sandra Schiavon continue the family heritage of love, laughter and kinship. His wit and warmth will be sorely missed, but his benevolence, comedic genius, and heart of gold lives on through his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a legacy he is surely proud of.

Remembering Bob at his happiest and most spirited, we invite family and friends to join us for a farewell at Dahl Funeral Chapel on November 23rd at 10:30 am, followed by a burial service at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please join us for a light luncheon at Billings Convention Center following the burial service.
