Rueben Montez 1943-2024
On December 6th, 2024, Rueben Montez went to be with the Lord and reunited with his wife, Adele Montez. He died unexpectedly at his home in Billings, MT.
Born on December 9th, 1943, to Antonio and Juanita Montez in Billings, MT. Rueben is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Raul and Ben Montez; sisters Sara Baros, Delores Heiberg and Lupe Gonzales.
Rueben leaves behind his brother Manual Montez (Maria), sisters; Alberta Montez, Becky Meyers and Liz Romo; daughters, Amy Moncada-Hill (Steve) and Crystal Moncada; grandchildren, Drew (Shanleigh), Jake and Jeny Hill; great grandchildren Jack and Finley Hill.
Rueben worked hard to provide for his family. He was a firefighter, concrete worker and finally retired after many years working for the City of Billings. He was devoted to his faith in God and was a member of New Life Church. Rueben enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and listening to Jimmy Swaggart.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, December 17th at New Life Church, 3950 Temple Pl, Billings, MT 59106.
The burial will be at Mountview Cemetery, 1704 Central Ave, Billings, MT 59102.
A reception will follow at the Red Door, 3875 Grand Ave, Billings, MT 59102.
