Judith (Judy) A. Cole age 80 of Billings, Montana Passed Away on January 11th, 2025

1944-2025

Judy was proceeded in death by her husband Richard Cole: Her Parents- Amilia and Irwin (Tiny) Beckman.

Judy is survived by her loving family: Daughter- Shawna (Michael) McGowen, Sons- Matthew ( Melissa) Cook, Patrick (Lana) Cook. Five grandchildren- Carley, sister Courtney and brother Trey; Keera and brother Dominick; other loving family and friends. Judy was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado where she rode horses and did barrel racing

in her youth as part of the Westernaires. Her passion for loving animals never diminished throughout her life. Her life's mission was to care for others. Her children were fortunate to have been raised by such a hard-working and loving mother who always put them before herself. Figure skating, hockey practices and helping deliver newspapers at 5am was a normal day for her. On top of working 2 jobs at times. She would do anything to help her children live their dreams. She was always the biggest fan of her children. She taught them independence and gave them the freedom to succeed and learn from their decisions.

Judy had many talents. To name a few, cooking, gardening, boating and home decorating. She was an incredible artist and created many varieties of paintings. Landscapes, flowers, and

objects. Her home and her family's homes display many years of creative works. Each thoughtfully and lovingly made for the person she loved.

As Judy's children grew out of their activities, she found interest in showing dogs. She found a new place to fill her mission in life of caring for others. Her lifelong passion and love for animals passed on to the ring where she had shown and championed many dogs over the years. This passion created a shared hobby with her husband Rich where they would travel to dog shows together and build many years of great memories and friendships in the dog show community. Judy is well known and highly respected in the arena and out for her excellence and high standards in caring and showing her beautiful dogs.

Judy was an incredibly strong person who pushed through all of life's challenges. She fought the crippling effects of Rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years and managed to continue with her

activities regardless of the struggle. She wouldn't let anything hold her back. In most recent years she pulled out the paint brushes and the easel to begin painting again. Her latest works

are a collection of beautiful poppy paintings that adorn her family room. She always found the beauty in everything.

If you ever wanted to know how Judy felt, you didn't have to guess. She would tell you and not mince the words. Her honesty was contagious and incredibly transparent. You could trust her with anything as there were never any surprises or secrets. Her giggle and sarcastic humor will be missed deeply. She loved all people of all walks of life and wished for all of them to love each other unconditionally.
