Henry Connor

Henry Charles Connor passed away on January 19th at the age of 70. Henry was born on February 20, 1954, in Wilmington, Delaware to Francis Connor and Anna Demenchuk. He was the youngest of two brothers. Henry received degrees in animal sciences from the University of Delaware, Montana State University, and the University of Wyoming. After the birth of his daughter, Leah Julie, Henry settled in Absarokee, Montana and later welcomed his son, Garrett Francis.

Henry was a cowboy and ranch hand for various ranches in Montana and also worked in a neurobiology research lab at Colorado State University. He then pivoted careers to information technology, which was effectively self-taught. He worked for the school districts in Absarokee, Columbus, and Reed Point, as well as provided freelance services throughout Montana and Wyoming. Despite this change in career path, Henry always enjoyed the opportunity to put his cowboy skills to work during brandings for family and friends.

Henry was an avid fan of soccer; he coached his children's AYSO teams in the summer, played goalie most weekends with members of the Stillwater County community, and watched many Premier League games. He was also a life-long student, enjoying reading about and discussing recent scientific discoveries and new technologies.

Henry is survived by his daughter Leah Connor (Matthew Solowey) (Boston), his son Garrett Connor (Missoula), his brother Micheal Connor (Charlene) (Delaware), his nieces Michelle and Nicole, and their children (Delaware).
