Im not a relative, but i believe i live in the same home mr wintle lived in in torrington ct. I found the initials GW 1951 inscribed in my driveway by my garage door

George, what I remember the most about your Dad was how happy, friendly, and kind he always was. Some people get old and cranky, but not your Dad, and he was always doing something either through a local civic group in The Colony, the police department, or just chatting with everyone at Walmart. I'm so glad you had the time you did with him. There is not a day goes by I wouldn't give anything just to have another hour with my Dad and drink a cup of coffee. Stay blessed my friend. - Joe
