Linda Vitez

Linda Marie Vitez was born to Thomas and Helen Todd on August 21, 1944, in Great Falls, Montana. Linda graduated from Great Falls Central High School and married Laszlo Vitez on August 15, 1964. They had six children: Michelle, Chris, Steve, Wendy, Courtney, and Kayce. Although the kids kept them very busy, Linda still worked at Buttrey's as a meat wrapper, and in later years the deli department of Albertsons. She enjoyed book club, attending church at St. Bernards, yoga, exercise, and baking. But the thing she did best was being a mom.

Linda passed away on February 10th at her house with family surrounding her.

Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal. Our mom, Linda, always carried herself in a dignified manner. Proud yet humble, poised, and many more attributes we will always aspire to achieve.

When we think of all that it takes to being a mother, raising a large family, and being a wife, our mom took it to the next level! She definitely rose to the occasion. She was present in every situation.

She was a woman whose selfless acts of love were limitless. When it came to her kids, she was exceedingly bountiful to all of us.

Her love flowed unconditionally to her kids, which were her greatest achievement. Linda was the stabilizer, the glue that kept everything from falling apart. She was the rock of the family and the foundation, which will be thoroughly missed.

Mom (Linda), the master orchestrator of the house, had a plan for everything. It was her way or the highway, with a whole lot of OCD packed in there.

She always managed to love equally with no bias, no taking sides, and no judgment. Linda always remained loyal to family and was the best secret keeper ever! She was always a sounding board for whoever needed one.

Mom (Linda) had a sense of humor and was naughty at times. She had a fun quirky personality…right to the end.

Through many trials and tribulations, Linda persevered with great courage and optimism. She never waivered on her faith, praying diligently for everyone she loved.

Our mom was the epitome of grace and class, traits that will be cherished and remembered for years to come.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Todd. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Laszlo Vitez; her children, Chris Vitez, Steve Vitez, Michelle Holliday, Wendy Graham(George), Courtney Vitez, Kayce Richmond (Austin); and grandchildren Gavin Graham, Abigail Graham, Sage Lebrun, Harley Ankeny, Maybrie Corbin and Trey Corbin.

Her service will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 22nd at 1pm.
