Obituary

Heidi Ann Renner, 49, of Laurel MT, left us to meet Jesus on Friday, February 21, 2025.


Heidi was born on October 5, 1975, to Ed and Ronnie Robertus in Columbus, Montana. She was both the eldest of three girls and the eldest grandchild.


Heidi married Brad Renner on December 19th, 1997, in Faith Chapel Church in Billings.


Heidi graduated from MSU Billings in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in special education. She used her teaching degree and love for kids at Trinity Lutheran School, where she taught for many years.


Growing up, Heidi prayed for boys and was blessed with her three amazing sons Isaiah (26), Ethan (23), and Emmet (21).


They are her everything.


Heidi loved Jesus with her entire being and showed that to everyone she taught, met, and served. Heidi served at Faith Chapel in the Kids Ministry until her kids were all in school. She continued to teach at BCS school in the Word of Life Kids Ministry, before landing at Trinity Lutheran School (TLS), where she taught 8th grade for 5 years. Can I say she loved kids :)


Heidi grew up a farm girl where she learned the value of hard work, a value she used to share Jesus.


Anyone who knew Heidi knew she poured out her heart on her family and all people. She will be so deeply missed until we get to see her again in Heaven.


She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, two uncles, and a cousin.


Heidi is survived by her husband Brad, her 3 sons Isaiah (his wife Annalise), Ethan, and Emmet Renner of Laurel MT,


Mom and Dad, Ronnie and Ed Robertus of Laurel MT, sister Dania (Husband Joe) Pommerer their children Addison, Jackson, and Emmerson all residing in Rhode Island. Youngest sister Anna Robertus of Laurel, MT.

Mrs.Renner influenced so many lives. From when I met her in at church camp and she taught a bible verse with actions “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬. A couple years later she started working in the school lunch line where every day I would perform for her the verse I had memorized years before. She then went on to teach me in my eighth grade year and pushed me far to show me what I can truly do, she taught me more about my faith and the best thing she taught me was what kind of person I wanna be. Heidi was more than a teacher she was faithful servant and role model truly living for the Lord and spreading smiles.

I will always remember the sunshine your mom exuded when shed stop by Nash Road. Perfect example of the mom everyone needs and aspires to be.

I remember Heidi as a sweet spontaneous kind-hearted giving person. One fond memory was the time she agreed to make a food run with me to Bozeman . I couldn't believe a young mom with two little boys , Isaiah and Ethan , would be willing to drive to Bozeman and back just so I could deliver a bunch of food to my college football son. Not only did she agree to drive she also wanted to contribute to the cause. Such a fun time delivering the surprise food to Chad and his football roommates! Also, am extremely grateful for the positive influence she and Brad has had on my son and daughter-in-law's lives. Heidi was truly an angel sent from God who done her job well with the time she had on Earth. I will miss her but know the angels are rejoicing over her. Evelyn G

Heidi was such a loving and caring person who just glowed with her love for Jesus. She is one person who influenced my life in so many ways growing up. I am so sorry Brad and her boys and she will be waiting with that big smile for every one of you.

I’m so sorry to hear that Heidi passed away. I coached her at Park City HS. What a brilliant light she had! A light burned out too soon. She lived life to the fullest. I’m glad she is at home with her Heavenly Father.
