Charles Stites

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Charles John Stites, who passed away on March 10, 2025. Born on December 3, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, Charles was the youngest of three brothers—Rob, Dave, and himself.

From an early age, Charles had a passion for working with wood, a talent that shaped his life's work. Whether crafting intricate pieces or taking on large-scale commercial projects, he had a rare gift for building just about anything. His craftsmanship was more than a skill—it was an art.

But Charles was more than his work. He was a father, a grandfather, and a man who found peace in nature. He loved the outdoors, whether he was fishing, exploring, or simply taking in the beauty around him. He had a soft spot for animals and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life.

Later in life, he made Montana his home. Those who knew him will remember his kindness and the way he could bring anything to life.

Charles leaves behind his children, grandchildren, brothers, and many others who were lucky enough to know him.

Though he may be gone, his love, his craftsmanship, and the memories he created will live on forever.
