One of my brothers Mike's greatest gifts was an amazing sense of humor and sharp wit. He was kind and compassionate but he was also Hilarious. No matter what the subject was, he had a memorized quote to sum up the sentiment. From Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, St. Thomas Aquinas, Ben Franklin or the Moody Blues, he would bring it from the lambrinth of his mind in an instant. Most often first quoted in Latin then in English for us mere mortals. Spot on always. Additionally, his understanding of the founding principles of this great Republic of ours was unparalleled. I learned so much from him and felt less fear about current events because of his understanding of past even ancient events. Ain't nothing new under the sun. I love him so much. Jay Bird, Jenny, Glotz, or Little Ginny (Mike's nickname for me)
