Obituary
Lori Ann Sorenson, age 51, of White Sulphur Springs, MT, passed away from complications of cardiac surgery on the evening of March 29, 2025. She was born on March 21, 1974, in her hometown of White Sulphur Springs, MT to Janice Albrecht and Louis Vinton. She was beloved and cherished by her daughter Crystal Rice, Husband Douglas Sorenson, and all her children, Katrina, Amber, Kayla, Wyatt, Fernando, Maria, Nick, Freja, Nao, Rio and countless others who called her mom.
Lori excelled in multiple professions. To say she wasn't busy doing something is one of the biggest lies there could be. She worked endlessly beginning at the age of 9 starting out as a waitress working with her mother. She worked in customer service at a call Center. She was top car saleswomen while living in Great Falls. She strived to own and run her own bar and restaurant, which she did so successfully for many years. She became Honorable Judge Sorenson in White Sulphur Springs. Lori founded the Lori Sorenson Trade School Preferred Scholarship. She was known to be spunky with a don't give a shit attitude. She had the most contagious smile and that would light up the world. She was everyone's listening ear and words of wisdom. She would be the first person to lend a helping hand, whether it was putting together a fund raiser, offering a place to stay or a warm meal. She was always there to help anyone who needed it. She truly was a shining light in the hearts of many.
Lori is survived by her husband Doug Sorenson, children Crystal Rice (& Allen), Katrina Swanton, Amber Flesch, Kayla Lee (& Cody), Wyatt Flesch, Fernando Berra Kossik (& Katie), Maria Jirak (& Stefan), Nicolas Venetz, Freja Molme, Nao and Rio Kawata. Grandchildren Felix Rice, Florian and Karoline Jirak, Jackson Flesch, Roczen, Weston and Josie Lee, her brother's Mike Vinton and Derrick Vinton, and many nieces and nephews.
Lori was mother and grandma (aka Mauggie) to all. There wasn't a kid she didn't take into her heart.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother Janice Albrecht, brother Craig Vinton.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 26th, at the White Sulphur Springs School at 4:00pm. Light Coffee hour to follow.
