Douglas Lyle Graves (Doug), 75 of Billings, Montana, went to his eternal home on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5th, 1949, to Melvin Graves and Ethel (Teena) Hanrahan in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Doug faithfully began each day in God's word, which he took with him in his daily walk. He had an innate sense of knowing when people needed a listening ear. He was a shepherd to many through Harvest Church Ministries, including Homeless Ministry, Divorce Care, Celebrate Recovery, and preparing and serving meals to the homeless. Doug was a talented leather craftsman and worked as a Truck Driver before his retirement. He had a love for rodeo announcing and enjoyed announcing with his dad.
Doug married Virginia Hyde in 1968 and together were blessed with 6 children. He later married Carol Graves (no relation) in 1990 and was blessed with 3 more daughters.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin, and his parents, Lyle and Ethel Graves, and Teena Hanrahan.

Doug had a huge heart. Making connections and relationships was very important to him. He shared the light of Jesus!
His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” – Matthew 25:23
