I remember Frank from RMC . He was kind and friendly. Rest in Peace, friend.

My early childhood memories are filled with the joy and laughter of children, The Zimmerer Children. There is a special place in my heart for Frankie.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Francis Anthony Zimmerer Jr. I think back to the time when I was a carefree toddler. Frank Sr. was calling out, “Wait up!” Happy-go-lucky Frankie Jr. was running, as fast ‘n’ free as a deer, through a field of alfalfa and tall grass. Tagging far behind him were his little brother Steve, my big brother John, and yours truly. It must’ve been the summer of ‘59. Frankie stopped on a dime when he heard his dad call out, and waited unselfishly for us younger kids to catch up. On that tranquil day, he generously led us into that mysterious and wonderful world, which was waiting for us to explore. Frank left a positive impression on me. Rest in peace and eternal light, Frank, and please “wait up”
