Ryan Shriver

Ryan Scott Shriver was born April 6, 1988 in Billings, MT. He passed away Friday, May 20, 2021 in Port Lavaca, TX. Ryan graduated from Billings West High School in 2006. He went on to attend college at Montana State University where he studied and earned a degree in Construction Engineering. He left Montana, moving to Texas where he would meet his future wife, Breelyn. They married August 8th, 2015 in Cancun, Mexico. They shared a beautiful life together with their corgis traveling the United States while Ryan worked turnarounds at various refineries. No matter where they landed, friends were soon made. His true passion in life while growing up was finding a way to slide down a snow-covered mountain and maybe hitting a jump or two. He learned to ski and snowboard on Red Lodge Mountain and later fell in love with the iconic Big Sky Mountain when he moved to Bozeman. Despite his love for Montana, Ryan decided to start his next adventure in mountain and snowless Texas. Due to the lack of snow, he picked up many new hobbies when he moved to Texas like BBQ'ing, hog hunting and crawfish boils. Ryan is survived by his wife Breelyn; parents Scott and Kim; brother Tyson (Hannah); grandmothers Ilah Shriver and Marge Hoffman. He has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly, as will all of his family and friends who were fortunate enough to get to know him over the last 33 years.
