Thomas Canape Sr

On Thursday, January 7th, 2021, Thomas Canape Sr. joined his beloved wife in heaven at the age of 84. Thomas was born December 8th, 1936 in upstate New York, but his heart was one of a true Montanan. Thomas is preceded in death by his wife Ann and his grandson Craig Canape. His children include Patti Erickson and husband Neal, Thomas Canape Jr. and wife Susan, and Joseph Canape and wife Jamie. His grandkids include Tony Canape (Alyssa), Megan Canape, Jennifer Canape, Matt Erickson (Kristi), and Katelyn Gilbraith (Andrew). His great grandkids include Avery and Colton Canape, Jahlil Seisay, Lennon and Karter Erickson and Charley Gilbraith. He also has three sisters he truly loved back in upstate New York, Barbara Pough (George), Lucille Whelan (Bob) and Christine Abitabile (Phil). He was also deeply cared for by close family friends Sandy Haney, Val Ayers and Clayton Kuntz. Tom's love of the outdoors and spending time with his family will be deeply missed. He was truly an amazing person who touched the lives of so many.
