Robert “Bob” George Dolly, 73, of Billings passed away June 5, 2020 in Culbertson, MT. He was born August 13, 1946 in Hastings, Minnesota, the son of Raymond E. and Marie F. (Haberle) Dolly. Bob married Karen Handeland on May 21, 1982 at their home in Billings, Montana. Bob worked for twenty-three years at his business Concrete and Excavation (C & E, Inc.). He sold the business in 2004 and worked construction. Bob founded the Billings Chapter of the Montana Pikemaster Club, an organization that educates all anglers on fishing. He especially enjoyed helping the young members learn to fish and getting them outdoors for fun and recreation. Bob is survived by his wife Karen; daughters Shannon (Garett) Johnston, Shauna (Jeremy) Bentley; grandsons Nate Johnston, Brayden Johnston, Rocky Bentley, Ryker Bentley; granddaughter Stevie Bentley; brother Ron Dolly; brother-in-law Terry Handeland; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Wayne and Thomas Dolly. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Monday at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Elks Lodge, 934 Lewis Ave., Billings. Donations may be made to the Bob Dolly Memorial Fund, c/o Stockman Bank, 402 N Broadway, Billings, MT 59101.

Sorry to hear the news of Bob's passing. I love the picture of him. He's enjoying a day of fishing while proudly wearing his Concrete and Excavation Inc cap and you can see the fire in his eyes. No BS, straight to the point, tells it like he sees it. Nothing wrong with that and a great way to conduct business. An absolute rare trait these days in our construction business, one I appreciate and one I will miss with Bob. Rest in peace my friend.
