Dan McNally

Dan was born May 12, 1940 in Mandan, ND, the third of four children born to James and Beth McNally. His father's job brought the family to Billings in 1941. He attended Fratt Memorial School and graduated from Billings Central in 1958. He was a friendly and very funny guy with a contagious laugh, always the life of the party. After many years in business, Dan retired to Lake Arrowhead, CA, a beautiful area he loved, where he lived for 30 years. His lifelong best friend, Jean Hester Heagle, and her family welcomed “Uncle Danny” into the clan. We sincerely thank them for the love and care extended to him, especially during his last few years as his health failed. Dan died December 17, 2018 at the age of 78. Cremation has taken place. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dave McNally, a niece and two nephews. He is survived by his brother Jim McNally of Scottsdale, AZ, sister Dee Nobles and sister-in-law Jean McNally, both of Billings, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Please join Dan's family and friends for a graveside service and inurnment at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 11, at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park. A luncheon will immediately follow at CJ's “Garage”, 2455 Central Ave. Danny loved dogs – always rescue dogs – and had one or two all his life.
