Sandra Hickey Wilson Crouse

Sandra R Hickey Wilson Crouse, loving wife, nurturing mother, generous grandma and loyal friend received her beautiful and deserved angel wings Tuesday, July 25, 2017. She will be missed by those she left behind. She was born October 19, 1941 in Renton, Washington to Russell O. and Martha (Mottley) Hickey. She was the third of four children. Some of her fondest memories were of the summers she spent in Walla Walla, Washington with her great-aunt, Frankie, where she earned the name "Sassy." Although she never would admit to how she got it!! Sandra lived in numerous places while growing up but she chose to make Billings her home. In 1959 she married Harvey Wilson and in that union she conceived four beautiful children, Keith, Raeanna, Cindy and Tamra. They were married for 12 years. While working at the Skyview Terrace she met her future husband, James Crouse. They were married on November 18, 1977, adding four additional children to the family, Jimmy, Linda, Carol and Jeff. Soon after, they began to build, from the ground up, their dream house where they lived until they each received their angel wings. This is when Sandra discovered her passion of planting grass, gardens and flower beds. Even into her later years she became fascinated by the fields that were planted and harvested by the Ostermiller's, which by all accounts have become family to us. She would do several daily bale counts and would excitedly tell everyone about riding shot gun in the swather. She continued working at Skyview Terrace for the next 4 decades until, at the request of her husband, she retired. She made several life-long friends that she loved to meet for lunch to catch up on the latest gossip. While too numerous to name she was blessed with 14 grand and 23 great-grand babies. She was even blessed with many wonderful dogs and two grand dogs with one on the way. Sandra is survived by her sister, Vera Anduha; children, Keith Wilson, Raeanna Wilson, Cindy Redner and Tamra Bolz; stepchildren, Jimmy (Chrys) Crouse, Linda Morkin, and Carol(Doug) Rosin. She was preceeded in death by her parents, sister, Dianna Moore, brother, Russell Hickey JR, stepsons, Jeff Crouse and Kurtis Morkin, Great-Aunt Frankie and her beloved husband, James Crouse.
